Since I bought the door. I am in contact with support desk of surepetcare. First I installed it on the door and tried to assign pet. It didn’t work even after they sent a test kit which was unsuccessful as well. Then I removed the door and I was able to assign the cat that chip was recognized. I installed the door again and now it does read the cat’s chip again. It is a disappointment since beginning. Well I will give two starts because at least support desk is responding and trying to help
